Siebwechsler-Gleitringdichtungen nutzen Zwischenr\u00e4ume zwischen Dichtung und Geh\u00e4use (typ. 0,001 Zoll bis 0,0015 Zoll radial), um das Entfernen und Ersetzen zu erm\u00f6glichen. F\u00fcr typische Prozessanwendungen sind Polymerviskosit\u00e4ten zu steif, um diese Spalte zu passieren, und die Maschinen laufen st\u00f6rungsfrei. Extrusionsbeschichtungsanwendungen verarbeiten Polymere jedoch oft bei Temperaturen von 630 Grad. F (332 Grad C) und h\u00f6her. Diese erh\u00f6hten Temperaturen f\u00fchren zu extrem niedrigen Viskosit\u00e4ten, die durch Radialspiele von bis zu 0,0005 Zoll flie\u00dfen k\u00f6nnen. Dieses Problem wird durch die typische Platzierung des Siebwechslers \u00fcber der Matrize verst\u00e4rkt. Jedes Polymerleck aus dieser Position beeintr\u00e4chtigt die Bahn oder tropft schlimmer noch auf die hei\u00dfe D\u00fcse.<\/p><p>Aufgrund dieses Problems verwenden die meisten Extrusionsbeschichtungsvorg\u00e4nge standardm\u00e4\u00dfig einen Patronenblockfilter, der einen manuellen Austausch erfordert, schwer zug\u00e4nglich und arbeitsintensiv ist.<\/p><p>PSI hat die Leckageprobleme von Gleitsiebwechslern f\u00fcr die Extrusionsbeschichtung durch ein propriet\u00e4res Upgrade seiner patentierten, lebenslangen druckaktivierten Dichtung erfolgreich gel\u00f6st. Die \u00c4nderung f\u00fchrt eine anpassungsf\u00e4hige, hitzebest\u00e4ndige (1200 \u00b0F \/ 650 \u00b0C) ringf\u00f6rmige Dichtungskomponente ein, die verhindert, dass Polymere mit extrem niedriger Viskosit\u00e4t um den Au\u00dfendurchmesser der Dichtung wandern.\u00a0<\/p><p>Die erste F\u00fcnf-Schicht-Anlage wurde 2015 an ein gro\u00dfes internationales Ingenieurb\u00fcro verkauft und in Asien in Betrieb genommen. Die typische maximale Betriebstemperatur f\u00fcr LDPE betr\u00e4gt 630 Grad. F (332 Grad C). Seit der Installation arbeiten die Siebwechsler leckagefrei. \u201eWir waren uns des Dichtungsdesigns so sicher\u201c, berichtet Don Macnamara, General Manager von PSI, \u201edass wir f\u00fcr einen gro\u00dfen OEM eine leckagefreie Leistung demonstriert haben, indem wir den Siebwechsler mit Hydraulik\u00f6l anstelle von Polymer gef\u00fcllt haben. W\u00e4hrend des dreit\u00e4gigen Tests sind die Dichtungen kein einziges Mal undicht oder sickerten. Ich besch\u00e4ftige mich seit 1983 mit Siebwechslern. Dies ist der erste Gleitplatten-Siebwechsler, den ich erlebt habe und der unter diesen extremen Bedingungen wirklich leckagefrei arbeiten kann.\u201c<\/p><p>Bis heute hat PSI fast zwei Dutzend weitere Siebwechsler f\u00fcr die Hochtemperatur-Extrusionsbeschichtung geliefert, die alle ohne Dichtungsleckagen laufen.
