Pionierarbeit geleistet bei der Abkehr von herk\u00f6mmlichen Edelstahldichtungen an Zahnradpumpen, um eine zuverl\u00e4ssigere Dichtung zu schaffen, die immun gegen katastrophale Sch\u00e4den ist, die normalerweise auftreten k\u00f6nnen, wenn Materialkontakt mit der Stahlzahnradwelle hergestellt wird . Wie bei Stahldichtungen st\u00fctzt sich die Lagerbronzedichtung des Unternehmens auf die Materialviskosit\u00e4t, um eine Abdichtung zwischen den Dichtungsnuten und der Getriebewelle herzustellen. Einige Materialien, wie z. B. sehr niedrigviskose Beschichtungen, hochschmelzendes PP, HMA usw., haben jedoch eine Viskosit\u00e4t, die der von Wasser so nahe kommt, dass das Material an einer Standarddichtung vorbeileckt. In diesen F\u00e4llen bestand die traditionelle L\u00f6sung immer in der Hinzuf\u00fcgung einer Stopfbuchse, die gelegentlich gewartet werden muss, um die Stopfbuchse gegen die rotierende Getriebewelle festzuziehen, wenn die Dichtung zu lecken beginnt.<\/p><p>F\u00fcr diese extrem niedrigviskosen Anwendungen (100-250.000 Centipoise) hat PSI eine neue \u201eLippendichtung\u201c f\u00fcr seine Zahnradpumpen entwickelt, die Leckagen und Wartung der Stopfbuchspackung effektiv eliminiert. Diese Lippendichtung enth\u00e4lt eine Platte am Ende der Dichtung, die die Ringe der Packungsdichtung einrastet und die Dichtung sowohl innen als auch au\u00dfen dicht macht. Jegliches Material, das \u00fcber die Dichtung wandert, flie\u00dft zuerst in die Packung, dann in die neue Lippendichtungskartusche und schlie\u00dflich in die \u201eFolgeplatte\u201c, die mit einem O-Ring abgedichtet wird. Diese drei Komponenten werden kombiniert, um Lecks selbst bei Materialien mit extrem niedriger Viskosit\u00e4t zu eliminieren.
