Aufgrund des Vernetzungsprozesses kann PEX jedoch nicht wieder geschmolzen werden und das Material h\u00e4rtet in der Regel in weniger als 5 Minuten aus.<\/p><p>Extrusionszahnradpumpen werden seit den fr\u00fchen 1980er Jahren erfolgreich bei Rohr- und Schlauchanwendungen eingesetzt. Aufgrund des Vernetzungsprozesses wurde die PEX-Extrusion jedoch von Zahnradpumpenlieferanten weitgehend vermieden. Zahnradpumpenwellen werden durch das Material geschmiert, das die Pumpe verarbeitet, und dieses Material kann einige Minuten brauchen, um durch die Lagerzapfen in der Zahnradpumpe zu flie\u00dfen. Aus diesem Grund w\u00fcrde sich das PEX-Material zwischen den Lagern und Wellen in der Zahnradpumpe vernetzen, wodurch die Pumpe einfriert.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u201eWir haben die Herausforderung angenommen, eine Extrusionszahnradpumpe f\u00fcr den PEX-Extrusionsmarkt zu entwickeln und herzustellen\u201c, sagte Rob Martin, General Manager von PSI-Polymer Systems Inc. \u201eDas Material bietet Rohrherstellern und Endverbrauchern erhebliche Vorteile. Nach geringf\u00fcgigen Anpassungen und Feinabstimmungen verbesserte die Pumpe die Aussto\u00dfraten erheblich, verringerte den Ausschuss, verbesserte die Kontrolle des Messger\u00e4ts und reduzierte sogar die Gelbildung, ein weiteres Hindernis f\u00fcr Hersteller von PEX-Rohren.
