La v\u00e1lvula, dise\u00f1ada por PSI, fue capaz de ajustar e incluso detener el flujo a cada bomba. La aplicaci\u00f3n involucr\u00f3 tanto una extrusora de doble tornillo como una extrusora de un solo tornillo, y la de doble tornillo requiri\u00f3 una alimentaci\u00f3n variada al sistema para proporcionar la mezcla correcta. Adem\u00e1s del desaf\u00edo, el cliente estaba usando PEEK para recubrir material relleno de fibra y no pod\u00eda permitir una variaci\u00f3n superior a 0.5%.<\/p><p>PSI dise\u00f1\u00f3 un sistema de control personalizado para esta aplicaci\u00f3n, con c\u00f3digo escrito personalizado para el controlador para ayudar a manejar todos estos requisitos. Instalaron 4 v\u00e1lvulas aguas arriba con mecanismos de sellado, cada una de las cuales contribuy\u00f3 al control personalizado. Si se apaga una bomba, el controlador la detecta y compensa el flujo. Esto permite la geometr\u00eda de flujo adecuada, tolerancias supercr\u00edticas y una variaci\u00f3n f\u00e1cilmente inferior a 0.5%. El sistema funcion\u00f3 tan bien que el cliente compr\u00f3 dos bombas de repuesto que pudieron intercambiar.<\/p><p>Para una segunda aplicaci\u00f3n, un cliente intentaba producir 6 bandas de flejado de pl\u00e1stico con una sola extrusora. Estaban intentando controlar los 6 hilos con una bomba de engranajes; el problema era que necesitaban ajustar constantemente el flujo y, despu\u00e9s de realizar estos cambios, los perfiles de temperatura y los perfiles de flujo no ser\u00edan consistentes. El resultado fue una producci\u00f3n ineficiente y una cantidad inaceptable de material de desecho. Se pidi\u00f3 al PSI que analizara y resolviera el problema.\u00a0<\/p><p>Despu\u00e9s del an\u00e1lisis, PSI recomend\u00f3 y proporcion\u00f3 una soluci\u00f3n que implicaba el uso de 3 bombas de engranajes con colectores. Dos hilos por bomba se controlan con la nueva unidad PSI. Un flujo de izquierda a derecha y centro proporciona el mismo flujo a cada canal, mejores geometr\u00edas de flujo, mejor distribuci\u00f3n del material y menor variaci\u00f3n del calibre del material. Las transiciones, los distribuidores y los adaptadores proporcionados por PSI mantienen el flujo equilibrado, lo que da como resultado una calidad de producto id\u00e9ntica. PSI tambi\u00e9n proporcion\u00f3 un controlador de sistema de bomba personalizado para esta aplicaci\u00f3n.
