Esto se debe a que la holgura mecanizada con precisi\u00f3n entre la carcasa y los pernos depende de la viscosidad del pol\u00edmero para crear un equilibrio entre proporcionar una lubricaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima entre la carcasa y los pernos y, al mismo tiempo, inhibir el flujo a trav\u00e9s del perno L \/ D hacia la atm\u00f3sfera. Hasta ahora, las masas fundidas de baja y muy baja viscosidad han sido problem\u00e1ticas para los cambiadores de pantalla de tipo perno debido a las limitaciones de las holguras que deben mantenerse.<\/p><p>Com\u00fan con los adhesivos termofusibles y los pol\u00edmeros de baja viscosidad, estas fugas son un problema grave, ya que no solo crean un desorden y requieren apagar la m\u00e1quina para su reparaci\u00f3n y limpieza, sino que tambi\u00e9n pueden convertirse en un grave peligro de incendio y seguridad.<\/p><p>Como soluci\u00f3n a este problema com\u00fan, PSI ha inventado una tecnolog\u00eda de sellado que funcionar\u00e1 eficazmente para pol\u00edmeros con viscosidades extremadamente bajas. Hasta ahora, el nuevo sello ha sido probado con \u00e9xito en viscosidades tan bajas como 1 cP (tolueno, etc.) hasta 300,000 cP y ha demostrado ser capaz de sellar nitr\u00f3geno a m\u00e1s de 2,000 psi. El dise\u00f1o es igualmente efectivo en viscosidades m\u00e1s altas que pueden ser manejadas por los tipos de sellos existentes.
