Les joints m\u00e9caniques du changeur d&#039;\u00e9cran utilisent des jeux entre le joint et le corps (typiquement 0,001&quot; \u00e0 0,0015&quot; radial) pour permettre le retrait et le remplacement. Pour les applications de processus typiques, les viscosit\u00e9s des polym\u00e8res sont trop rigides pour passer \u00e0 travers ces jeux et les machines fonctionnent sans probl\u00e8me. Toute fuite de polym\u00e8re \u00e0 partir de cette position compromettra la bande ou, pire, coulera sur la matrice chaude.<\/p><p>En raison de ce probl\u00e8me, la plupart des op\u00e9rations de rev\u00eatement par extrusion utilisent par d\u00e9faut un filtre \u00e0 bloc de cartouche qui n\u00e9cessite un changement manuel, est difficile d&#039;acc\u00e8s et demande beaucoup de travail.<\/p><p>PSI a r\u00e9solu avec succ\u00e8s les probl\u00e8mes de fuite du changeur de tamis \u00e0 glissi\u00e8res pour le rev\u00eatement par extrusion gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une mise \u00e0 niveau exclusive de son joint brevet\u00e9 activ\u00e9 par la pression \u00e0 vie. Le changement introduit un composant de joint annulaire conformable et r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la chaleur (1200 degr\u00e9s F \/ 650 degr\u00e9s C) qui emp\u00eache les polym\u00e8res avec des viscosit\u00e9s extr\u00eamement faibles de migrer autour du diam\u00e8tre ext\u00e9rieur du joint.\u00a0<\/p><p>Le premier syst\u00e8me \u00e0 cinq couches a \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu en 2015 \u00e0 une grande soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d&#039;ing\u00e9nierie internationale et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 fonctionner en Asie. La temp\u00e9rature de fonctionnement maximale typique pour le LDPE est de 630 degr\u00e9s. F (332\u00a0degr\u00e9s C). Depuis l&#039;installation, les changeurs d&#039;\u00e9cran ont fonctionn\u00e9 sans aucune fuite. \u00ab Nous \u00e9tions si s\u00fbrs de la conception du joint \u00bb, rapporte Don Macnamara, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de PSI, \u00ab que nous avons d\u00e9montr\u00e9 une performance sans fuite pour un \u00e9quipementier majeur en remplissant le changeur de tamis avec de l&#039;huile hydraulique \u00e0 la place du polym\u00e8re. Pas une seule fois, au cours des trois jours de test, les joints n&#039;ont fui ou suint\u00e9. Je suis impliqu\u00e9 dans les changeurs de tamis depuis 1983. C&#039;est le premier changeur de tamis \u00e0 plaques coulissantes que j&#039;ai exp\u00e9riment\u00e9 qui peut fonctionner vraiment sans fuite dans ces conditions extr\u00eames.<\/p><p>\u00c0 ce jour, PSI a fourni pr\u00e8s de deux douzaines de changeurs de tamis suppl\u00e9mentaires pour le rev\u00eatement par extrusion \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature, qui fonctionnent tous sans fuite de joint.
