Todo processo tem um limite de alta press\u00e3o definido pela extrusora ou pelo limite de escoamento do pacote de tela.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">A queda de press\u00e3o inicial (tela limpa) define a extremidade inferior da janela de press\u00e3o do processo.<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">Como a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o de m\u00edcrons da tela e os di\u00e2metros de fio relacionados s\u00e3o geralmente padronizados, ao trabalhar com um\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">n\u00edvel de filtra\u00e7\u00e3o, a vari\u00e1vel restante para reduzir a queda de press\u00e3o \u00e9 o di\u00e2metro dos furos na placa do disjuntor.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">O design eficiente da placa do disjuntor equilibra a \u00e1rea aberta e a resist\u00eancia ao escoamento para minimizar a queda de press\u00e3o.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">Para a maioria dos pol\u00edmeros e adesivos processados atrav\u00e9s de trocadores de tela, o tamanho do furo da placa do disjuntor padr\u00e3o da ind\u00fastria (Classe 2) funciona bem. No entanto, para materiais fundidos fracionados de alta viscosidade, o di\u00e2metro t\u00edpico do furo gera uma alta queda de press\u00e3o. Isso reduz a janela de press\u00e3o e o tempo de execu\u00e7\u00e3o correspondente dispon\u00edvel para um determinado pacote de telas e resulta em mudan\u00e7as de tela mais frequentes.<\/span><\/p><p>Para reduzir a queda de press\u00e3o para esses materiais e aumentar o tempo de execu\u00e7\u00e3o entre as trocas de tela, a PSI oferece placas de disjuntor Classe 3 e Classe 4, cada uma com furos sucessivamente maiores do que a placa Classe 2 padr\u00e3o. Os orif\u00edcios da Classe 2 s\u00e3o dimensionados de forma ideal para suportar uma tela de 20 mesh.
