A bomba de engrenagens nos ajuda a chegar l\u00e1.\u201d<\/p><p>Ao assumir a fun\u00e7\u00e3o de gera\u00e7\u00e3o de press\u00e3o para a matriz, a bomba de engrenagens permite que a extrusora processe o mesmo volume, ou muitas vezes mais, a uma rota\u00e7\u00e3o mais baixa. Isso se traduz em menos energia necess\u00e1ria para produzir um volume espec\u00edfico de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Embora esta quantidade de energia seja possivelmente pequena, ela aumenta, diz Macnamara. Considere uma extrusora funcionando a 100 RPM, 24 horas\/dia, 5 dias\/semana, 50 semanas\/ano. Isso equivale a 36 milh\u00f5es de RPM\/ano e um ganho no rendimento de 10%-25% a uma RPM mais baixa e uma queda na corrente da extrusora correspondente, o que ajuda significativamente a pegada energ\u00e9tica do produto.<\/p><p>Outro benef\u00edcio ecol\u00f3gico da redu\u00e7\u00e3o da press\u00e3o do cabe\u00e7ote \u00e9 a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da carga do motor da extrusora, levando a economias de energia significativas a longo prazo. A press\u00e3o mais baixa da cabe\u00e7a tamb\u00e9m minimiza o desgaste do parafuso e do cilindro. Tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 reduzida a carga no rolamento de impulso e no sistema de transmiss\u00e3o, o que aumenta a vida \u00fatil do rolamento B10 e reduz a necessidade de reconstru\u00e7\u00f5es da caixa de velocidades. Menor desgaste leva a menos reconstru\u00e7\u00f5es, cada uma com a sua pegada de carbono adicional. Por esse motivo, a PSI afirma que muitos OEMs especificam bombas de engrenagens grandes para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de alta press\u00e3o para aliviar a carga da extrusora.<\/p><p>O foco atual na sustentabilidade tamb\u00e9m passa pela inclus\u00e3o da recupera\u00e7\u00e3o, segundo a PSI. Muitos processadores limitam a porcentagem de material reciclado na extrusora devido ao aumento de press\u00e3o que resulta da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o vari\u00e1vel e das taxas de fus\u00e3o das diferentes densidades aparentes da mat\u00e9ria-prima. As folgas apertadas na bomba de engrenagens amortecem efetivamente o surto da extrusora na entrada da bomba em at\u00e9 50:1. Em muitos casos, isso resulta no controle da press\u00e3o da matriz de +\/- 0,25%. A press\u00e3o consistente da matriz mant\u00e9m a varia\u00e7\u00e3o da parede\/man\u00f4metro dentro de uma toler\u00e2ncia restrita. A execu\u00e7\u00e3o fiel ao limite inferior da especifica\u00e7\u00e3o dimensional elimina o desperd\u00edcio causado pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o fora das especifica\u00e7\u00f5es (acima\/abaixo).\u00a0<\/p><p>Cortar sucata economiza energia ao produzir o produto uma vez e evitando o impacto energ\u00e9tico do reprocessamento. Executar uma toler\u00e2ncia mais restrita tamb\u00e9m significa usar menos pol\u00edmero por comprimento de produto. Por exemplo, um produtor de condu\u00edtes que extrusava tubo SDR 13,5 de 1,5\u201d tinha um peso m\u00e9dio de 151 gramas por comprimento. A adi\u00e7\u00e3o de uma bomba de engrenagens minimizou o excesso e resultou em um peso constante por comprimento de 145 gramas. A 65 p\u00e9s\/min, 20 horas\/dia, 5 dias\/semana e 50 dias\/ano, a economia de 6 gramas eliminou 257.940 lb da pegada do produto. Isso representa cerca de um milh\u00e3o de libras retiradas da produ\u00e7\u00e3o em quatro anos, ao mesmo tempo em que produz tubos de alta qualidade de forma consistente.<\/p><p>A PSI tamb\u00e9m observa que uma bomba de engrenagens pode reduzir a demanda por resfriamento adicional durante o processo de extrus\u00e3o, reduzindo o aquecimento por cisalhamento induzido por contrapress\u00e3o.
